Updating busy information greyed out
Obviously, I had no idea this was a TS environment.I still think there may be a link with autodiscover given you've seen 2 issues with reaching it (inability create a profile via autodiscover and inability to reach free/busy).as we can see, I’m running version 1.0.1427.0040, and the latest available is 1.0.1442.000 released on 4/25/2011 (at the time of writing).The download page for the newest version is located here: This topic provides information that you can use to determine whether the Autodiscover service or the Availability service cannot provide the necessary information to your users.You can use Outlook 2007 to troubleshoot problems with the Autodiscover service.

The Availability service for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 provides calendar information for your users.
This information is known as free/busy information.
Maybe not with autodiscover or Exchange itself but maybe with the terminal server and occasional name resolution issues or something like that.
